Sharma is Subsurface leader and an innovative geoscientist with world-wide experience in Exploration and Development. He is experienced in technical and commercial evaluation of oil and gas properties, developing subsurface reservoir models for field development, mature fields, and reserves estimation. He is a Business Leader who advises in A&D, field unitization, with “hands-on” experience in equity re-determination and implementing sound reservoir management practices. A mentor, enables and builds technical capabilities of staff, and encourages transparent working environment.
Sharma has worked for many global oil & Gas companies like Petrobras, Marathon, Repsol, Shell, Halliburton, Fugro, and ONGC.
Sharma is very active in LinkedIn Groups related to Geomodeling, Reservoir Geology and has immensely contributed to the technical discussions.
Sharma holds a Masters in Applied Geology from IIT, Kharagpur, India, MS Geology & Petroleum Engineering form Texas A&M University, USA and MBA from Rice University – Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, USA
